Your Visit

Regular Well Child Visits

Well Child Visits are meant to provide an overall assessment of your child’s health, growth, and development. These visits are scheduled to coincide with routine immunizations and regularly include screenings for anemia, blood pressure, cholesterol, hearing, vision, and lead poisoning.

Adolescent Visits

As children mature into teenagers they begin to take greater ownership for themselves and their health care. The team at We Care Pediatrics wants adolescents and their families to know we view them as patients and our primary concern is for them and their needs. We encourage our adolescent patients to speak freely and directly with our medical professionals and to discuss any concerns they may have about their health and their bodies.

In some instances, our patients will raise issues with us that are confidential and we encourage the discussion of these issues. Our policy is to keep any information confidential when it is requested by our patients, with the exception of issues which may be life-threatening.

At We Care Pediatrics, we do our best to schedule sick child visits on the same day you call us. Please let us know as early as possible so we can schedule your appointment and minimize your wait time.

Weekend Hours

Weekend Sick Visits

We offer limited hours for weekend sick visits; especially during peak times for seasonal illness. We aim to help families with sick children get through weekends without trips to the emergency room. Please call us to schedule an appointment.

After Hours Services

After Hours

If this is a life threatening emergency call 911 immediately.

Our normal office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00am—5:00pm. In the case of a non-life threatening emergency We Care Pediatrics has a team member on call after hours who provide guidance on obtaining care. Routine questions such as mild illnesses, prescription refills, or scheduling appointments can be handled during normal business hours.
